Hi! I'm a husband, dad, pianist, composer/arranger, U of AL music prof, children’s book author, coffee lover,
and dad joke enthusiast.
Some people call me Kwooz.
Some people don’t.
Music
Composing, arranging, and improvising piano music has been a steady part of my musical life ever since I began playing piano 25+ years ago. I love creating piano sheet music for pianists to enjoy! While earning the DMA degree (in piano performance), I became more equipped to create music through which I hope others can find joy, inspiration, and fun.
Books
My first book was created
solely as a unique gift for my first child.
But then other people noticed it and wanted a copy.
So it began! I write children's books that are not only fun for the kids (and parents), but are filled with valuable life-lessons that can help our children develop into amazing
people of the 21st century.
